It has been a week scene I had RESUBMITTED the return request and 11 days from when I original submitted the request. I bought this with the intent of making PLA. I am trying to use raw pla pellets from nature works. This says it can make pla +-.05 in my case that is FAR from the truth. Mine at the best settings I could find ranged from 1.2mm-1.7mm Unusable. Using the larger nozzle I can get between 1.7-2mm but anything over 1.95 jams the tube. I have tried everything from using a stepper at a consistent speed to pull the Filament (gave me the best results, but far to inconsistent to use) I have tried vertical and horizontal. I have tried the raw pellets, pellets/ recycled filament and 100% recycled pla. tried using the winder to pull the filament and that also didn't work. I contacted the seller and he is telling me for this exact plastic to use at 184C. I have done that and it comes out super liquidity as I had already told them! natureworks them self states 165C for this plastic, at that temp the machine extrudes super slow (around 1-3mm/minute) but the plastic comes out at the right consistency. I have personally tested this for around 30 hours with different speeds and different temperatures with only a full bag of wasted filament to show for it. They have tried to give me advice, but I am unable to get this to work with PLA. Right now I am trying to return it but am getting nowhere. I will update this review if I am able to return. I will update this review if I am able to return. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ welldone *by A***R on June 11, 2016* amazing manufacturer ### ⭐⭐⭐ Original was "Better than expected," now not so much. *by U***I on February 25, 2019* I decided to purchase a Wellzoom filament extruder because I really couldn't get my Filastruder to work correctly. I will use this review space to leave updates as I use it more. Shipping from China to my house was much faster than expected, taking about 3 days. I only have ABS to make filament with and I made some yesterday. At full speed, which is about 6.5 RPMs, I get about 16.5 inches per min. or about 419 mm/min. At that speed the filament exits the die at about 1.90 mm in diameter. I used my filawinder to pull the filament closer to the 1.75 mm that I need, though the 1.9 mm should work fine. ABS filament was perfectly round to maybe 0.01 out of round, which is good in my book. In the future I plan to make filament with TPU, TPE and reinforced PP. More to come. edited 4/4/2019 : Extruded ABS and TPE pellets over the weekend. Both extruded nicely. Ran the Temp calibration on the extruder while making filament and the temp hold very steady. Liking this Wellzoom extruder more and more. Edit 4/24/2020 Last time I used it a few months ago, I was having a problem with inconsistent flow, so I decided to take the screw out.
