## Questions & Answers

**Q: What's the difference between this and seachem equilibrium? And how will these affect the plant and fish's health?**
A: Replenish is a liquid & Equilibrium is a powder of course but beyond that the only difference is Replenish contains a small amount of sodium whereas the Equilibrium doesn't.  Supposedly Replenish isn't safe for plants but I use it & have live plants.  No issues at all.

**Q: Can this be used with distilled water? My tap water is very hard making it difficult to balance.**
A: Yes it can be used with distilled water. Do note that Seachem makes another similar product known as Equilibrium. Do a search on the net using "Seachem Replenish vs Equilibrium". Replenish is meant more for a community tank while Equilibrium for planted (sensitive plants). Both will add minerals to the water but with some differences. If your tap water is hard, why don't you just mix your tap water with distilled water? Do get the necessary kH and GH test kits.

**Q: I have a planted tank that slowly drops in ph & kh over time (probably due to minerals/solids being used by plants). Would this keep these values up?**
A: No. This product does not affect pH or KH. Replenish only affects GH or general hardness. To adjust pH or KH you need an acid buffer.

Also, please realize that some plants don't tolerate replenish and you should try Seachem equilibrium instead.

**Q: I have a molly tank that is 12gh and 1kh, is this product recommended to raise thos numbers, i have 1 molly with shimmys, i also add salt with pwc ?**
A: Yes it will raise the GH. Mollies do better if they have hard, alkaline water conditions; 15-30°dH, pH 7.5-8.5. A fair degree of warmth is also important, i.e., 75-82°F. But they must also have very low nitrate levels too, less than 20 mg/l, and absolutely no ammonia or nitrite.
