Brushmarkers PRO contain 2.4 ml of paint "ink". Manufactured using "liquid ink" technology these Brush Markers maintain their intensity of colour until the very last drop! This superior technology allows you to control the amount of "paint" used making then twice as efficient as traditional filter markers. In addition, they are equipped with a Japanese super durable and flexible nylon tip. They contain non-toxic paints with an intense dye based colour. The colours can be mixed, lightened and blended through tonal transitions by contacting the ends of the markers. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can you use on canvas?**
A: I haven’t tried using them on canvas but I would think you could. They are thicker then a water
Color brush pen & a better quality then the average brush marker. Hope that helps.

**Q: is the karin mega box water base and the pro the same inks?**
A: I bought that kit for my wife at Christmas so I referred them question you her. The answer is yes.

**Q: What is difference between mega box and the ones with neon included**
A: Hopefully this answers your question, the mega box I’m pretty sure only has 60 markers and doesn’t include the neons. The bigger box with 72 markers referred to on Amazon as just “BrushMarker Pro”includes the neons. As a lettering artist, I haven’t used the neons as much as I thought I would, so if I could go back in time, I’d probably just buy the box of 60. I do enjoy having the neons just because, but they don’t really get used very often. So if you’re looking to save some money and don’t think you’ll use the neons very much, I’d go with the smaller box.

**Q: This box include the DécoBrush Metallic?**
A: No it does not, it included blender brushes and neon colors. Metallics are sold in a tin set and should be stored differently than these. (Meaning stored laying flat).

These are cool pens!! I've been using water color pencils for years - these are like Derwent Inktense pencils except much more intense! You can get great effects blending out the colors, eg/when you do gradients from a lot of coverage to very little to none - and it looks like stained glass when you done! A few things to be aware of, in my opin: the colors are very bright - I don't think these are what you want if you're looking to create subdued, misty water color effects - the color selection is strong, bright colors & neons. And I think these would be hard to control on really small images if you're say filling in a stamped image with a lot of small areas because these pens are soooo juicy. And, I hate to say it, but invest in really good water color paper - even if you're using the Strathmore 400 series - you'll notice a huge difference if you try Arches with these (use some cheaper stuff to practice with!). And hot press is better for these - I read that cold press can wear these nibs, I don't know about that, but unless you're going for a really bright but loose look, I think these would be hard to control on cold press. One last thing - I was debating whether I should knock off a star for this: I found that the greys - warm, cold, and/or neutral do not dissolve & spread in that 'watercolor way' - I don't know why. Mine pens in those colors are full of ink, but the ink goes on & sits very much like a marker. In fact, when i got my set the greys were the first colors that I tested & I actually looked up the order online because I thought 'oh, no, I ordered regular pens & not the water color markers!" But the other colors are juicy & blendy & runny, it's only those greys and a couple of the yellows were similar, but not nearly as much. Even with this flaw, however, these are great pens - my pictures look like they came off a printer - the colors just glow!! And compare the cost to Copics - yes, these pens aren't as versatile, but they're way less than half the price!! Take the money you save & buy some Arches to go with them!!
