## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can I use Jungle Mix as a bioactive soil?**
A: Yes. Zilla Jungle Mix is highly recommended to be used in combination with Zilla Bark Blend substrate, sphagnum moss, and activated charcoal. Research the best combination for your terrarium.

**Q: How deep should the bedding be and how often should I change it?**
A: We recommend creating a 1–2 inch layer of bedding to help encourage natural behaviors. Spot clean daily and replace the bedding monthly, or as needed, to maintain freshness and support a clean comfortable habitat.

**Q: Does it help with odor control?**
A: Jungle Mix is not positioned as an odor control product. Keeping the habitat fresh depends on removing waste daily and replacing bedding on schedule. Zilla Jungle Mix has an earthy scent.

**Q: Does it prevent mold?**
A: Because moisture-rich environments can support mold growth, follow the recommended care routine and replace bedding as needed.

**Q: What is Zilla Jungle Mix composed of?**
A: Zilla Jungle Mix is a 100% organic mix of sphagnum peat moss and aged Douglas fir shavings
