According to the research I read, Acetyl L-Carnitine is a form that passes through the blood-brain barrier providing the neurological health effects whereas L-Carnitine Fumarate or Tartrate do not. People take Acetyle form for neurological benefits and the other forms for fat metabolization, increased energy, and other whole body effects. Fumarate and Tartrate forms do not cross the blood-brain barrier.

Magnesium silicate is talc!!!?

You would have to contact the company. I no longer use this product. It is not enteric coated capsule, and causes severe indigestion. I actually make my own from bulk supply. I get it through Bulk Supplements, and make my own capsules. Once I made the plunge and have learned how to do it, it is quite easy. I make them 100 at a time and it takes about 1/2 hour from time I set it up to done. And all for about 35 cents for a hundred. And NO added fillers, including talc! All the best and to your health. Oh, yeah? I take It help with polyneuropathy.
