How many x65 belts are per package?

There are 5 in each package. For what it is worth. I have owned my work sharp for two years and I am still using the same one it came with.

I ordered a medium kit and a coarse kit. I got one kit and it was not what I ordered what do I do now?

I'm looking for 80 to 100-grit to remake and edge on a cane knife so, how does a 220-grit abrasive get categorized as a "course" grit?

It's a relative scale related to application. You're correct, for normal sanding of say a wood surface, 220 is fine and the typical grade for finish work. With knife edge work, 80 to 400 is still considered coarse. 1200 to 6000 is fine to extra fine.
