So if for daylight - don't get the NOIR. If for night (or partly night) get the NOIR. Just note the NOIR won't look the same unless you re-install the IR filter. You can web-search for image differences. **Q: Can the cable be removed so I can use a pi zero cable?** A: The issue is with the Pi Zero which requires a special end on the cable where it connects to the Pi Zero. The camera end of the cable is the same for all the Pi cameras. If you have a camera cable for the Pi Zero, the camera end should fit this camera fine. **Q: Im just seeing black when using in low light conditions. Are there any adjustments that need to be made?** A: I have not had much success with very low light using the Noir camera. To do so would require adding an external IR light source. You can get a little extra sensitivity by increasing thr iso in your code. It defaults to 200 but you can increase it to about 1600 to add about 3 stops of exposure.
