Brother Hall goes into great detail about the spiritual and physical sides of fasting. How to start it, how to end it, and what to expect biblically if one is willing to mortify the flesh through prayer AND fasting (as Jesus commanded.). I never knew that lengthy fasts beyond 10 days were possible. By his and others’ accounts, fasts of 40 days and beyond have been achieved even in these modern times. And the spirtual results were astounding. I’m in the middle of putting all that I’ve learned in this book to the test. This is a MUST read for all believers.
