Dixit really does bring something different in attempting to make you use you knowledge and understanding with the other players so as to explain a card in which SOME BUT NOT ALL of them will be able to correctly pick your card. There are great you tube videos demonstrating the game in action including a certain series with an ex-star trek star, and it was this that made me get the game. Some of the cards are a little unusual but that's part of the game. I understand there are a huge number of add on card packs to keep the game fresh however they appear expensive (IMO). One of the few games that is universally liked with my family and played repeated.
