This pressing while not the cutting edge of audiophile grade sounds really nice on a reference system! 2xHS8's, 1xHSs Driven through a AT-PL120 Nag naked cartridge. Remember a bunch of these songs were recorded prior to the majority of computer digital systems tape banging distortion off the compressor that's just part of this grunge era sound. Instead of perfect everything you got some crunch and fuzz. I personally think it all comes across just great on this album. 100% worth the buy Chris's voice comes out as pure as silk nestled in deep chunky guitar riffs. Review: A Classic outing from Soundgarden. Just Epic. Holds it's own now even after 30 years!!!
