I removed rockers and rocker base and it bolted in place with no problem, used grease on all bolts and nuts. Only used hand tools no power tools. I had absolutely no issues with the threads pulling or stripping, it is strong and after all 16 valve seals were replace it was in as good off condition as it was when it arrived. This tool was so simple. The instructions were vague the picture showed a spacer on top the instructions stated it goes underneath it does in fact go underneath as it gives the tool clearance to extend over the valve cover mounting bolt holes. I read the reviews before purchasing and my expectations were low and I had a backup plan in case it didn’t work. I honestly don’t understand why there were bad reviews unless they were from an earlier version, I bought mine in June 2024 and didn’t use it till March 2025. Keep the stud lubed well with grease along with the nut and washer and be sure that you tighten the stud into the tools frame, which is supposed to be on an angle by the way, which was perfect and it works flawless.
