Can anyone comment on the fit, comfort and stability of a larger person using the chair?** A: The seats are about 16 inches wide & from arm rail to arm rail is about 20 inches wide. The pressure doesnt rise while sitting (well mines doesn't) so I don't think weight is an issue(I'm 170 & the pressure works fine). I thinks its more if you can fit in the seat comfortably. The arm rails gives a little room for anyone over 16 inches but again, they're only 20 inches apart. You dont have to add the rails if you think it may be too tight.
