I bought the version with two sides (pic only shows one extension, I'll add it later if/when my plantlings need the vertical space) and it fits under the counter just fine. The lights are an 18" LED Beamswork fixture from an aquarium I no longer use. It was easy enough to assemble by myself without any real instructions. As other reviewers have said, set it outside in the sun to warm up before you tighten the plastic screws and it aligns just fine. The plastic is solid and not flexible, this tiny greenhouse was a lot sturdier than I expected.
