This is a Diamond in the rough, no bells or whistles, just a straight forward amp, It is a bit under whelming at first, but after 25+hours the tubes on this little gem open in full bloom. I have had the audio-holic adication for many years, and this one deserves a place on the the list recommend! Recommend upgrading the 6au7’s, going to try EH 6au7’s, audiophiles know what the addiction is!..RECOMMEND..

The Yaqin MC13S is my first “tube” amplifier. I was impressed with what it does quality wise as it reproduces a clean bass , full mids and crisp , not harsh highs and that’s with it powering my new Kiliscph Heresy IV’s and it does get very LOUD. This is not a Heresy IV review but as so many c/o the bass lacking with the Heresy IV’s I thought I use my Lavaudio DS 600 and run it through the SVS sub I use in my home theater system and then to the MC13S . Yes it sounded good. But within two hours decided to take out the sub. I for one prefer the “in the auditorium “ sound the Heresy’s created when hooked to the Yaqin MC13S . My vinyl never sounded so warm and real till now. I am not replacing my Marantz SR7015 100w x7 running my BWs but, for my vinyl It’s the Yaqin MC13S as it sounds not better than the Marantz but it offers up a new flavor and it is not vanilla more like fudge brownie delight. THEN… I rolled the tubes from the stock Chinese Tubes and installed Genalex Gold Lions. Immediately , heard a new level of sound and the fudge brownie delight went from store bought to homemade ! The bad: no remote (though I knew that when making the choice to buy the Yaqin) but still now am missing it. However, the Lavaudio has one but still, not so when using my TT. In time I’m sure I’ll remedy this issue when I upgrade. For now. I’m happy.

Worth every penny even now that it costs more. Picked up about 5 years ago and couldn’t be happier with this product. No frills, no balance, no tone, just straight clean analog love. I do have it hooked up to a streamer (WiiM Ultra) that serves as a pre-amp for all my connections, EQ, remote and SVS sub control. Can’t go wrong with is setup along with Klipsch Heresy IVs. My friends and I are constantly amazed by the sound and they ask to come over and listen. Whether streaming, listening to vinyl or CDs I’m in sonic heaven.

i have had this amp for going on 5 years now. it is as quiet today as when i first received it. i know there are some positive reviews for this amp with the stock tubes, which is probably an exception to the rule. so, i would recommend just planning on doing yourself a favor and replacing the tubes from the get-go. i went with a NOS valvo (amperex) matched el34 quad for the power section, and brimar (mullard) and telefunken tubes in the pre-amp section up front. the youngest tube in the amp is over 50 years old. the sound? glorious! i built a set of crites cornscala speakers to complete the setup. i have heard ALL the good, better, and best amps out there driving speakers similar to mine, and i can honestly say that this setup is absolutely golden. i purchased this amp on the basis of a few positive reviews when it first came out for about $549. still, at $999 this amp represents a good value in home audio. i would buy it again. my understanding is that the transformers are japanese in my amp, but things change with suppliers, so don't quote me on that for units currently produced. overall, a very cool amp. for HD music streaming, i use a BluOS node with an amazon music subscription. the soundstage is unreal with HD as well as from my vinyl collection playing on a vintage technics sl-1200 turntable + nagaoka mp-110 cartridge.

Purchased my Yaqin MC-13S in 2019. Running good six years later. Exceptional build, design, style, and presence. Just added new tubes to replace a tube set that lived three years. I'm blown away by the fresh sound of the new tubes. This amp is breathing!

I have had this integrated amp for a few years, and I really like it. I changed out the tubes with Mullards which improved the sound. This amp provides good power and is very versatile with power tube options. I used it with EL34 power tubes for over a year. I recently switched to KT77 power tubes which provide abit more of the tube sound. Nice to have options. Great amp, solid build and great sound.

Very impressed with the quality, sound, and packaging. I set my unit up with my Bose speakers, (outstanding sound). The construction is made of the highest quality, the manufacture spared no expense in building this unit, (highly recommend this product).

Quando si acquista un valvolare cinese il primo pensiero è sul materiale usato per costruirlo. Il secondo aspetto è sulla qualità del suono ed infine sulla garanzia nel tempo. I materiali usati per assemblarlo sono tutti di origine europea e giapponese, questo non vuol dire che siano i migliori ma comunque validi. La qualità del suono dipende anche dalle valvole e di serie monta tra le migliori prodotte in Cina. La Cina non produce valvole scadenti anche se costano meno di certi famosi marchi ma il suono che restituisce è puro e cristallino. Ovviamente parliamo di marchi cinesi di valvole famosi come le Shuguang o Tung-Sol e non di altro. Posso dire che a livello sonoro questo valvolare supera molti marchi noti da prezzi 2-3 mila euro. Un utente in un forum ha messo da parte il suo McIntosh per questo modello (assurdo ma possibile). Il suono è caldo ma non troppo (dipende dalla sorgente, dal dac usato e valvole) i bassi sono pieni (a volte un po' sfocati) i medi sono eccellenti, una meravigli ascoltare le voci e le chitarre, tutti gli strumenti a corda eccetto il pianoforte. Gli alti sono abbastanza ben definiti, sulle alte frequenze dipende anche dalla sorgente e come viene letto il supporto. Sicuramente a questo prezzo non trovate di meglio. Ultimo aspetto è la garanzia, due anni forniti da Amazon con un venditore subito disponibile a provvedere a risolvere i problemi. Tenete presente che la costruzione è così semplice che è anche facile ripararlo. Ho avuto molti amplificatori a stato solido e un preamplificatore a valvole della audio note che ora è fermo perchè mi sono da subito innamorato del suono di questo valvolare.

Ho sostituito un rotel 980bx per pilotare delle Indiana Line Tesi 661 e sono estremamente contento. Il miglior regalo di natale che potevo farmi 😇 Il soundstage è incredibile adesso. Potenza e precisione non mancano ma il colore ed il calore del suono è davvero da rimanere stupiti. Yaqin è un brand sottovalutato, a torto. Come finiture non è uno Xindak o Muzishare. Ad esempio le manopole di volume e selettore sono in plastica e non in alluminio, così come i coperchi dei trasformatori sono in lamierino e non in alluminio. Ma trasformatori d'uscita e di alimentazione sono ottimi, così come la componentistica sulla scheda e di ottima qualità tranne il potenziamento del volume: per quanto Alps Blu ma della serie economica. Funzionamento solo in ultralineare ma davvero di qualità. L'estetica, ovviamente va a gusti. Detto che a me piace moltissimo esteticamente, che cambierò pomelli con alcuni in alluminio pieno ecc ecc..... resta un amplificatore che vi regalerà fantastici ascolti. Sia che ascoltiate rock, disco, classica, reggae.... La regolazione del bias per le valvole di potenza è semplice e precisa. La spedizione è stata velocissima ed è arrivato con almeno 8 giorni di anticipo, imballato con doppia scatola e ottimo strato di schiuma tra i due scatoloni. Non posso che consigliare il MC-13S. Ottimo il venditore.
