## Description

Official Racing Simulator for Xbox One and Windows. 900 Degree Force Feedback racing wheel. Realistic 11”/28 cm wheel. Large pedal set included. With its official embedded software, this racing wheel is automatically recognized by the Xbox One console and is compatible with the console's menus. PC compatibility (Windows 10/8/7/Vista) is ensured thanks to the THRUSTMASTER drivers available for download from our website. The drive system with adjustable Force Feedback lets you feel every detail while you're racing (the road or track's relief, loss of tire grip, braking, bumps and impacts, and more). The rotation angle is adjustable from 270 to 900 degrees. A mixed belt-pulley and gears system is smoother, more fluid and less noisy than helical gears, with a metal ball-bearing axle for enhanced sturdiness. The THRUSTMASTER TMX comes along side some very impressive technical specs: the end result is a high-performance wheel that is both solidly-built and precise, delivering unrivaled flexibility for gamers of all levels - from beginners to experienced racers - and on all types of racing circuits.

Review: Great "Affordable" Force Feedback Wheel - I have previously owned a non-force feedback wheel: Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 Spider. It was a great wheel for the price, but my driving lacked precision. Thus, I decided to upgrade to Thrustmaster TMX. Trust me, the TMX wheel is a huge step forward in the world of sim racing for those of you coming from non-force feedback wheels like I did. First of all, your driving will become more precise because you actually feel the track (or the front tires). Moreover, the adjustable rotation of the wheel (270 - 900 degrees) helps to adjust to different racing games. It is also PC and Xbox One compatible, which is a huge plus too. Of course, a $200 price tag could be scary, but the wheel is very well built and driving with a force feedback is a completely new experience. In my opinion, this wheel is great, but I wish its surface was fully covered in rubber/leather just like on the sides. In addition, I have heard that a lot of people are not fond of the standard pedals. In fact, the same pedals come with the Spider wheel. In this case, you can upgrade to the new pedals and a shifter/stick from the same brand if you wish. Nevertheless, I believe that Thrustmaster TMX is worth the $200 because every other force feedback wheel is much more expensive. I have already tested this wheel on Xbox One: F1 2017, Dirt 4, Forza Motorsport 5, Forza Horizon 3. Unfortunately, this wheel is not compatible with all racing/driving titles. For example, it was not recognized by Need for Speed 2015 or GTA V (not sure why I wanted to test it on GTA). I have also tried it on ETS 2 and it works great. Overall, I highly recommend this wheel for anyone looking for a force feedback wheel for an "affordable" price.
Review: Read it all. - Just want to start with Im not disapointed with my decision to buy this particular sim wheel. What im disapointed about is the lack of honest straight forward descriptions. So the weel itself is plastic or at least a plastic housing. Ok yeah it is just a toy. Wait a toy that if i place my hand wrong the force feed back could injure me? With plastic. So id say at least 98% of these sim racing wheels say there metal of somekind you know like a real car stearing wheel. Um the paddle shifters feel like there bending just from use. not to be cofused with overuse. The plastic break and gas pedals, (no clutch?) Actually feel really good theres no real sence of presure but there is restance so its not to bad but you cant really use one foot cause the adjustable plates on the pedals are wierdly big. Its almost like they had no idea what they where doing. The base of the wheel feels real sturdy and has a fair amount of weight to it. I guess its dual band and mabye a gear for the stearing and force feed back. It feels not at all like what i thought. In fact i kinda think i got a defective one. I mean it works as far as i can tell, but feals dry and like a out of aline gear. Kinda like half working power stearing. So this is probably the most important bit. Button maping? Yeah well no. Only if the game doses it in there options. As far as Assetto Corsa goes kinda as long as you use the buttons they allow but dont tell you. Its trial and error. So your left with 4 buttons that are double duty for the options menu and shifting up down. Why why why. This is only being used on xbox one s. Even though i hooked it up to my laptop to see the setting and was able to kinda get it to work good until i unpluged it from comp cause the save files dont go from comp to xbox. Or something like that. Blah... Problem is i cant fine tune it and i cant remap the buttons. For $299.99 you would think you would get these features since a 40$ controller can. Now you can set levals of options like ffb, cerb ffb, road ffb, (as far as asseto corsa) and none of witch really help you with a discription so you have to look it up on you tube, then it wont be for your exact wheel+game so youll round up/ down the values and hope for the best. If you have a family or roommates and you need to use headphones? You have to plug in to your controller and set it to not turn off. O wait i have yet to find this setting. so every few minuts itll shut off and lag your game. Unless you listen to music at same time you race. Oh and and probably the worst is there is secret" or hiden" settings. Now to me theses should be praised not hidden. You can download this info from thrustmaster. How to work the menu that chnges on the fly: like the degrees for the stearing. 270, 360, 6??, and 900 and the other is a sensativity setting. default, low, mostly low, and really superlow. Let me end this by saying all in all if you can get it right it plays really good and i would suggest this for a sim driver that is new to wheels but not new to sim games. Oh i almost forgot. The add ons, a choice of 2 triple pedal set ups with a forth as long as you can get the adapter plug. A shifter again same as pedals. And a handbreak except that one a mod and its going to be expensive. Not unlike the other 2 and the usb hub for conections cauae this wheel dosent have enough holes to plug these add ons in. And they actually cost more then the wheel peddle combo i paid for. So there it is in my words a proper discription.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does the wheel come off**
A: It does but you void your warranty. Ricmotech used to sell adapters for most wheels. I swapped my tmx with a deep dish. Def not an easy thing to pull off. But if your willing to take a hack saw to the old wheel to turn it into a button box and punch a hole in the case for the wiring it's possible

**Q: Can the wheel be hard mounted?**
A: Yes you can hard mount the TMX. Ricmotech.com has a hard mount plate. Look it up. I have mine hard mounted to my rig and it works so good

**Q: can I turn off the clutch? Just want to use gas and brake pedal**
A: Yes you can.

**Q: Good nigth! The pedals are included in this package?**
A: Yes the pedals are included. They are pretty light weight and only include brake and accelerator, no clutch. But if you have the three pedal set it will work with this controller.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ very good starter racing wheel
*by G***N on January 9, 2026*

So Ive been wanting to get a racing wheel to play all of my car games and honestly, this might be the best feeling starter racing wheel. Its very easy to install and easy to take off and tuck away for later use. When first testing it out in forza I was instantly impressed by the force feedback. Obviously it wasnt perfect out of the box, it needed some settings tweaks but that wasnt hard to do at all. The only two complaints I would have wouldnt be about the wheel itself, but the pedals. For the price I obviously wasnt expecting very high quality. The pedals are made out of plastic that easily tips over if you dont use both feet to use the accelerator and brakes. The other thing about the pedals is that they are very creaky. it didnt start out this way but maybe a day or two after use i started to hear the noises coming from them. I dont think that this will be a big issue because I am sure WD-40 could get rid of the noise. Overall an extremely good starter racing wheel.
