The removal tool that the orthodontist gave me was very flimsy. I ordered this kit to keep in my purse and was so surprised how nice it is, so much so that I now use it in place of the one from the orthodontist. The case is very sturdy and has a nice mirror which is really helpful if you're somewhere where you need to be discrete. The thing I like the best about the case is that it has holes in the lid so that the water can evaporate and nothing is going to go sour in there. Additionally, the case shuts firmly and because of the nice hinge, the lid stays shut. The removal tools are extremely sturdy.
