Regardless of whether or not drywall screws are designed for use in wood, anyone who says they haven't is lying. **Q: Are these impact driver ready?** A: I use them in my 1/4" dewalt impact drill from time to time , especially in tight spots like small 9" or 12" cabinets. No problems so far. **Q: what size plug cutter do i need for this set?** A: You will need a 3/8-inch plug cutter. **Q: If I'm using 3/4 inch screws that would require me to tighten the countersink onto the threaded section of the bit is that ok?** A: While not recommended, you can do it. I'd probably use a different style countersink though. Something with an actual drill bit as the pilot and the shank just eats a little away.
