## Description

The 50-84 Master Template for use on the Tensilkut I and Tensilkut II is used to prepare the gauge section for ASTM D695 specimens for compression testing. The ASTM D695 specimen has a gauge section of .500" x 1.5", and an overall width of .750". This test is used to determine the mechanical properties of rigid plastics and non-metallics when loaded in compression at relatively low uniform rates. The specimen produced by this template is longer than is necessary, for ease of preparation. The 50-89 Tensilkut Master Template, sold separately, is used to cut the ends of the specimen square and parallel at 3.13" long. We will contact you for the model number of your Tensilkut I or Tensilkut II when you order. The 50-81 will be shipped for use with the 10-13 Tensilkut I, the 50-82 will be shipped for use with the 10-23, 10-28 or 10-48 Tensilkut I or the 10-82 Tensilkut II. The 50-83 will be shipped for use with the 10-33, 10-38 or 10-58 Tensilkut I and the 10-85 Tensilkut II, and the 50-84 will be shipped for use with the 10-68 or 10-78 Tensilkut I or the 10-88 Tensilkut II.
