The quick start guide and the app are all you need and I had the three-node system up and running in about 20 - 30 minutes (even allowing for firmware updates and so on). The only downside is that when you configure your wireless network using the app both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks have the same network name / SSID. What this meant in practical terms was that a lot of my wireless devices would connect to the 2.4 GHz network and this resulted in very poor throughput / performance, especially for streaming media such as Hulu and Netflix. The solution is to use the web interface and to set different network names / SSID for the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks. Now only my thermostats connect to the slower 2.4 GHz network with everything else connecting to the 5 GHz network and getting the throughput and performance I'd expect.
