As a short woman with long legs, I always feel I'm stretching too far to my bars, and my hands are too small to get a good grip around the hoods when climbing, which makes it an awkward and frustrating experience. Having tried over a dozen permutations of bars and stems I still always suffered numbness and discomfort, but these are the perfect solution. Lovely flat tops to rest on, relieving numbness, easy reach, and - best of all - lovely thin bars to grip firmly while out of the saddle. Feel so much more confident and stronger in the climb! Standard brakes tranferred with slightly longer cabling and adjustment of shims but anyone with bigger hands might need to buy new levers.
