The key feature of the 190X is the ground level adaptor which allows great shooting creativity. The legs of the 190X tripod are fast to extend and adjust, thanks to the Quick Power Lock levers that block and unblock each leg section. The QPL levers are specially designed to allow a more comfortable, stronger single handed grip of the leg locks. From a folded position, the sections of each leg of the tripod can be released in a single movement. Suitable for even the largest cameras it should do well with everything short of the huge professional video cameras. The two padded sections are a nice touch making the tripod kinder in cold weather. I have always liked the speed of the lever type leg locks rather than the ones the require you to loosen a ring collar. The ball head is easy to adjust and is faster than the standard handle type head. It does lock very firmly when needed. The quick release mount is nice quality steel and uses a folding loop which can be tightened or loosened with fingers.
