Make sure you buy the new generation that comes without resistor to make the installation easier for you and you just unplug the stock and replace them version with resistor will make the installation harder and you need to play with the wires which I dont recommend the difference between new and old versions: the new one will not hyperblink the old will hyperblink unless you install the resistor. One reviewer noted that the front facing turn signals do not fit correctly because they stick out a little. Looking at the stock/OEM lights before replacing them shows thats how they are designed, so these are an exact fit. It's worth noting that you do not need to remove your grill or even pop the hood to get these installed. To replace the front facing turn signals, simply reach through the side of the car next to the wheel, slide the red clip lock and unplug the cable from the lights. From there its super easy to pop the 2 tabs that keep each light in place and push the lights out the front of the grill. Then slide the new lights in (you'll hear them click, then reconnect the cable and slide the red clip lock. Took all of 5 min. The side markers are much harder to get installed compared to the turn signals, but over all not too bad. Plenty of youtube videos showing you how to do them. Plan on buying some additional plastic pull rivets incase the existing ones break. Over all they look really good however time will tell if hyper flashing or waterproofness becomes an issue. I'll update if anything goes wrong. Wires came loose the 2nd time I had to remove them. **Q: Is there a specific wiring harness to prevent hyper flash on the turn signals on a 2010 Jeep Wrangler?** A: Our lights have resistors built in. Haven't had any issues with hyper flashing thus far. The electrical systems of Jeeps can be finicky at times though. If you do encounter the lights hyper flashing, you would simply splice in a resistor PARALLEL to the circuit with the issue.
