From the manufacturer TEAR-AID Type B Patch Kit Description TEAR-AID Repair Patches provide a simple and easy method of patching holes and tears, as well as an excellent protective film solution. Each TEAR-AID Repair Patch is made from an exceptionally tough, matte finish, abrasion resistant, elastomer that resists puncture and tearing. It is combined with an aggressive adhesive formulated for high bond strength. Tear-Aid expands absorbing force on impact and always returns to original shape and size. This flexibility allows the patch to conform to irregular surfaces without restricting the movement of the repaired material. Vinyls have oils that are absorbed by most adhesives which causes the adhesive to turn gooey, gummy, and ultimately lose bond. Tear-Aid vinyl repair patches contain an inhibitor that blocks the oils found in vinyls resulting in a long lasting repair.

Review: Espectacular resultado y durabilidad - Espectacular la calidad del adhesivo. Puesto en el asiento de una moto que tenía una pequeña rotura desde hace más de un mes y como nuevo. Ni se despega en los extremos, ni se arruga, ni se encoje, ni se mueve. El adhesivo tampoco aparece más allá del propio parche como pasa por ejemplo con la cinta americana, pot lo que no mancha ni se pega al pantalón. La pena es que no lo haya de color negro como la tapicería para que el roto no se vea a través pero por lo demás lo recomiendo al 100%. No hay nada parecido y he tenido muchas motos y el mismo problema. Antes de conocer este material sólo se podia retapizar porque el resto de parches y materiales que probé nunca funcionarion.

**Q: Would this work on an air mattress (with a slightly flocked surface)?**
A: Does not work on flocked surface. Does not even stick to it, falls simply off. Tried to us sand surface, did not help. DO NOT recommend for air mattress with fuzzy surface.

**Q: would this work to fix patch a vinyl convertible top?**
A: if applied correctly and on a clean surface, I have no doubt that it would work. I liked the product very much.

**Q: would this work to patch a Polyethylene tarp? (slightly different material from vinyl)**
A: I used the type B to repair my vinyl canopy cover. I have also used it to repair a tarp which I believe is made of poly. I don't recall what the type A product is used to repair and suggest investigating what it is used for first. It may be made for repairing poly.

**Q: do you think this would work on a damaged area on a vinyl window frame?**
A: I am not sure. I will cover a damaged area to help hold it together but if the window frame you are talking about is so old that it is cracking it might just buy you time. The tape is clear so if there are any gaps in the frame this will not fill them in. I hope this helps you.

Espectacular la calidad del adhesivo. Puesto en el asiento de una moto que tenía una pequeña rotura desde hace más de un mes y como nuevo. Ni se despega en los extremos, ni se arruga, ni se encoje, ni se mueve. El adhesivo tampoco aparece más allá del propio parche como pasa por ejemplo con la cinta americana, pot lo que no mancha ni se pega al pantalón. La pena es que no lo haya de color negro como la tapicería para que el roto no se vea a través pero por lo demás lo recomiendo al 100%. No hay nada parecido y he tenido muchas motos y el mismo problema. Antes de conocer este material sólo se podia retapizar porque el resto de parches y materiales que probé nunca funcionarion.
