## Questions & Answers

**Q: I have a area of the backyard I want to mulch but it is a has a greatly rise of a few inches in the yard. Does this do ok on uneven ground?**
A: You can adjust the elevation of the panels every 3 feet (at the joint where the panels connect). It's a wonderful product but it can't handle extreme changes in elevation. You can use it on uneven ground as long as it's not more that 3-4 inches every 3 feet.

**Q: My soil is clay that is a real bugger to dig. Can this edging be installed successfully in clay?**
A: I would think it could. I used hammer on a piece wood to pound mine to where I needed it.

**Q: I need to seperate lawn (Kentucky Blue grass) from flower beds - what height should I get?**
A: 3" is too short for that purpose, I used 4" for the same, it works great. The people who answered 6" make an interesting point... except, A. it doesn't come in 6"... lol, and B. the roots of grass don't grow deeper than the height of the grass. So unless you have 5" grass, the 4" will work fine. You bury all but 1/4" - 1/2" depending on your adjoining material. It's not supposed to stick up much. Also, if you have very hard soil I would go with the 4", for sandy soil you might consider the 5".

**Q: why aren't prices in pounds and pence.**
A: What a curious question... unless you've never shopped Amazon, and NO ONE would blame you for THAT! 🥴 Are you looking for the edging because it's made in the UK? Is it only sold on Amazon?

So many queries, but onto the super easy to fix. See the little US flag between the search bar and your name... Click the pull-down arrow and change it to UK -- tada... you're shopping in the UK!

And P.S. This edging is tres cher, but it is also, like, totally, wickehd awesome and worth every single pence. Cheers!

Upgraded to 5, you Rock Stars!! (Edited) Should be 5 stars -- FIX THE TABS!!!

*by P***O on Reviewed in the United States on October 28, 2019*

Rock Star update/upgradeHaving bought 5 or 6 more sets, I'm finding the tabs to be easier to connect... maybe you improved them, or maybe I improved my install skills!... very likely it is the latter.Either way, this is an amazing product and worth every penny. You won't believe how it keeps grass and weeds OUT -- my grasses are Bahai and St. Augustine, and it NEVER gets past the edging. I'd also like to give the company HUGE credit for very little, if any, "Supply Chain" price increases -- thank you!!It is also height-versatile -- in some areas I've pounded it in lower so I can run the lawn mower with one wheel OVER it and not have to edge or weed whack at all -- yay, and in other areas I've installed it higher to keep junk on the OUTSIDE from getting on the INSIDE -- like keeping leaves out of a garden bed.I believe my first sets are at least 3 years old, maybe 4 and they are absolutely like brand new. I feel VERY confident these will last a very, VERY long time.Advice... Be SURE to have or buy a rubber mallet, it's absolutely mandatory, and with this next one, I'm not giving advice, just a share -- take it or leave it and don't sue me... I have REALLY POUNDED them in HARD next to my driveway to get through the base rocks and they don't show even a ding or a dent. They are EXTREMELY sturdy and TOUGH little heckers! And an idea... With the high price per set (but worth it!) I'm swapping out my old edging 5 at a time every other month or so. It seems like forever to wait, but eventually it will all be done and fabulous. This is one of the very best garden products I've ever used. Kudos!!Original Review:This product is just awesome. It looks so precise and perfect and beautiful. The price leaves A LOT to be desired though. If you have the money, splurge, totally worth it, nothing else I've found comes even close. They don't get five stars though on a quality issue. There is connection point that rarely lines up correctly, and at this massive price IT SHOULD and the company should address it. I've installed quite a bit and the "tab" that is supposed to be pushed through to hold the connection has only lined up ONCE. That's unacceptable at this price. Other than that, it's a REALLY beautiful product.

An edge above the rolled vinyl type.

*by O***T on Reviewed in the United States on September 30, 2019*

I have several spots that I can not get my mower into, these require that I use a grass trimmer. I have used the black vinyl type on parts of my yard and it just looks ugly. It's hard to install, keep straight, and needs support to stand up straight. I could go on but I think you get the idea. The EverEdge that I purchased was just the opposite. It looks great, is very sturdy, has a far superior method when you need to attach another one, and is far easier to install. It comes with attached support stakes so it stands up vertically. These support stakes are the only drawback. If you put the product into the ground first and go to attach another one the connection method works against you. It takes time to align the two sections. I found it was easier to lay the sections on the ground, join them together, then lift them upright. Put the attached stakes in the ground only deep enough to keep the sections from falling. After the sections are upright then begin to pound the sections into the ground little bit at a time. Keep doing this until all sections are at the height you desire. The stakes only need to be a little bit into the ground to keep the edging up right. Please watch the stakes as they are VERY sharp.Hope you enjoy this product as much as I did and remember you get what you pay for.

A high-quality edging that will accent a display garden

*by E***S on Reviewed in the United States on July 30, 2016*

I converted my entire front yard into a perennial garden, and I need to edge a 45-foot border with my neighbor’s lawn. The border sits at the base of a steep incline, so I got the taller 5-inch EverEdge for runoff prevention. I installed one set of edging as a trial, and I'm going to wait a few days to evaluate it before ordering two more sets to finish the job.I looked at EverEdge installation videos on YouTube in preparation, and I was pleased to discover actual installation was even easier. Simply pound a piece of edging into place, connect it with another piece, then repeat. EverEdge even works well when installed on uneven ground. It has a rich color and solid, durable feel. It looks much better than plastic edging, though plastic edging is definitely far cheaper. In summary, EverEdge is worth the price if you’re seeking maximum visual appeal. Otherwise, plastic edging is a much more affordable option.Tip 1: Don't use the black edging for long expanses if you're going for a natural look. Based on the color quality of the brown edging I've no doubt the black edging would look great, but it would look unnatural and would distract from a garden's beauty.Tip 2: You don’t need to bend the bottom metal tongue to secure the sections. The top clip is enough to secure them, and you’ll be able to quickly separate them later, if you choose.
