The only thing I use them for is just under the eye area to lighted and tighten slightly. I was not able to get this particular product on thin enough to be able to use it. It left a very crusty, crystal like substance around my eyes that was very difficult to remove. Having said that there are some of the instant lift products that do a pretty good job of making you look refreshed and will last all day or for that special occasion. (I am in my 60's)These type products DO NOT work for an all over face lift, contrary to what they may say. They all will leave a white film after they dry if more than a minute amount is used. To use on your entire face you would need to remain expressionless for the entire time it is being worn. It is REALLY easy to get too much on. The white film is because the product is designed to sit on top of the skin and does not get absorbed into the skin. The white film is the substance once it dries. When used under your eyes if only a tiny bit is used the very thin white residue actually helps to lighten any dark under eye circles and tighten the skin slightly giving a refreshed look. Once it dries, a powder eye shadow (I use a translucent sparkle) can be applied on top and will hide any remaining residue. As long as you realize how these products work they are ok, they are not a miracle in a bottle and will not reverse aging. Athena is great but VERY expensive for a tiny bit (thus the reason I really wanted this one to work), I also like pfl premiere face lift here on Amazon.
