I have found it to cling to the pivot ball really well without causing pocket lint to stick to it as bad as Rem oil or other similar oils. It works great on pivots as well giving them a very smooth action. I have tried it on bronze washers and ball bearing pivot systems but not on a nylon washer system yet. After my positive experience with this oil on my knives I tried it on my Steyr pistols and was not disappointed. I have used frog lube, Rem oil, break free, M-pro 7, etc. and found this oil to be every bit as good as frog lube without the process frog lube requires. My Steyrs did not skip a beat at a class I took after using this oil on it and shooting 1500+ rds in a weekend. I do recommend this oil as a very solid choice, though most of my firearms will remained lubricated with frog lube since I have spent the time lubing them properly with it and that stuff works extremely well.
