Set Contains: 1x SKB 3i case 2U Studio Flyer Review: This large but excellent quality road case is perfect for any drummer! The larger size does increase the weight once it’s all loaded up of course, but it’s got great handles and casters which help a lot. Plus all your gear including your drum throne can fit in one place! It’s pretty awesome. SKB cases rule and this is no exception! Review: I had a hard time spending this much money, but this is the best purchase I’ve made for my kit. I gig all summer long and needed a way to carry more things at once. It can hold my snare, kick pedal, stick bag, several stands (if they can be broken down short enough), all my cymbals, and a few miscellaneous things too. There are two cons: it is heavy as fock and I need a second person to get it into my car. Like the case is heavy on its own, but then add all those cymbals and gear… it is really hefty. I am a 5’3” female, so maybe you can handle it on your own, but you will hurt your back. The other is that the cymbal vault doesn’t have a latch. I did have it fall open (with cymbals inside) and it ended up damaging our IEM system because it fell so hard. I ended up installing a latch to be safe. This is only an issue while you’re still loading gear into it, so if you do cymbals last, you’ll put the lid on top and it won’t be an issue. So, it’s not perfect, but it’s just a couple tweaks away. Very glad I bought it and I’d recommend it to any drummer who gigs. ## Features - Compact carry-on size - Lighter and stronger than previous models - Waterproof and impact-resistant - Innovative moulded-in front/rear rack rails - Quiet-glide wheels and pull handle ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Item Weight | 6.89 Kilograms | | Product Dimensions | 48.26 x 35.56 x 8.89 cm; 6.89 kg | | Item model number | 1SKB-ISF2U | | Color Name | Black | | Connector Type | / | | Scale Length | inches | | Material Type | Polypropylene | | Size | 0 | ## Images ![1Skb-Isf2U Case For 2U Studio Flyer, Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61tRocIBRPL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can a zoom l-12 mixer fit into the top section? its dimensions in millimetres are 445.0w x 282.0d x 70.5h.** A: I own a zoom l-12 and no, it will not fit under the top lid. It's 70mm+ tall and the lid depth is only listed as 2", which is closer to 50mm. **Q: What are the 2 spaces on the bottom all about?** A: They are just that, spaces, very useful for storing small things. They are front and back. It’s a great case. **Q: Does it fit in those carry on measuring baskets for eva and united?** A: Yes it does, I have used this as carry on on both United Domestic and International as well as AS and BA **Q: how much depth do you have in the top laptop area total between the lid depth and recess of the case?** A: 7cm aprox ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by M***E on 19 December 2022* This large but excellent quality road case is perfect for any drummer! It is MAGIC. Con: Awkward to fit a 22" cymbal in it and it's "heavy". It's not as good as a full proper trap case that you might see backstage at a stadium, but you can't fit one of those in the back of a van, and you don't have roadies carrying it around for you. As another reviewer mentioned the wheels could be beefed up, but I have not had any trouble with it so far. I haven't beaten it up too much though so your milage may vary. Overall very happy. Update 2023: 5 years in and still happy. I've replaced the wheels with more substantial casters, and as well the screws that hold them in place with stainless steel as salt and water had destroyed the old ones (they're 1/4-20 1/2 inch btw). ## Frequently Bought Together - SKB Component Rack, Black (1SKB-ISF2U) - Furman M-8X2 Merit Series 8 Outlet Power Conditioner and Surge Protector - Gator Rackworks Standard Size Rack Screws, 25 Pack (GRW-SCRW025) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.uk/products/265660931-1skb-isf2u-case-for-2u-studio-flyer-black](https://www.desertcart.co.uk/products/265660931-1skb-isf2u-case-for-2u-studio-flyer-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart United Kingdom* *Store origin: GB* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
