It also has an adjustable tensioner to make the gun fit snug or loose. Works like most paddle holsters. You can adjust the cant of the gun. My main reason for this purchase, you can use it with or without a belt, so even in gym attire with sweat pants, you can still carry. It holds on the hip nice and snug and is comfortable even without a belt. The gun snaps into the holster and locks in. To take your gun out just press your finger on the release button as you draw. Great holster and quality made! If you're looking to conceil, I would recommend a different holster as this one sticks out and is for OWB, more of an open carry or conceil with a jacket holster.
