What Does It Mean to Be Chosen?: An Interactive Bible Study (Volume 1) (The Chosen Bible Study Series)

Great read, good quality for a paperback and really great value for the money.

Bought this to see if it would be good for our church group study. Love the show, had seen prior to this. My group is on our last week of the study and I can't say enough good things. It's filled with so much cross referencing, large picture of Jesus' purpose for coming and prayer. It's so much richer than most video led study books that just have little to offer and not very deep. This study is good for new Christians and "intermediate Christians" let's say haha, however my advanced super knowledgeable Christians who have led disciple bible study and other high commitment deep enriching Bible studies who are extremely well seasoned have also enjoyed going through this study because it opens up pretty good discussions. I personally formatted the bible study this way for my 9week (8 episode) small 2hr group study; Meeting 1- Introduce to the show by watching episode one. Everyone works on episode 1, week 1 questions individually. Meeting 2- go over questions, discuss extra scriptures that come up with useful research. Break into small groups and discuss questions #4,#5,#6- regroup after and finish questions, discuss thr further study points they give. Watch episode two. Leave and work on individual questions thru the week. Meeting 3- repeat... etc... Final meeting : go over last set of questions, and watch the special Christmas episode.

I already have season 4 and love it! It really helps with my Bible reading and you kind of get to go through the series again while reading.

Bought as a gift and they loved it!

This is a nice discussion guide even if you haven’t watched the first season of The Chosen. It’s even nicer if you have and can dive deeper into the message of the show. I’m in a small Bible study and this was the selected study book. Half of us have seen all current seasons of the chosen, a couple have never watched the show and another couple have watched up to season 5. We all bring something to the discussion and it’s great to dive deeper into the Word.

We use these books Bible study. Everything is not biblical throughout the book but it gives you the opportunity to dig deep and get your Bible. But the books itself with the pictures and all and the DVDs bring it to life and I love it. We have every book that have come out for our Bible study.

This Bible study is insightful and can be done alone or as a group. It does an excellent job of connecting the Old Testament to the New Testament, which is important in understanding why Jesus was the Messiah. We are watching The Chosen in a small group setting. We have ages 11-70 and each at a different place in their journey. While we are fully engaged in watching each episode of The Chosen, this study challenges us to examine our individual hearts as to what it means to be chosen to follow Jesus. We are ready to dive into the next season.

Add this to you cart asap!! This study guide is perfect for beginners in Christ or those that have been studying forever. It is simple but in depth and reads easy! Plenty of space for notes, perfect size to carry, the cover is a smooth texture so it seems like you have paid a pretty penny for it when in fact it is a reasonable price for such a high quality piece. I would do this study on your own while watching the Chosen or you could do this in a group setting either way you will be presently surprised. Even if you have not watched the movie that is really not going to matter because this is such a good study! #GodBless

The item arrived on time and thus help me in my doctoral studies

The very best Bible Study guide there is. It's a life changer guide

This is an excellent interactive Bible study for Episode one of the Chosen. So wonderful because the Chosen episodes are free to watch if you down load the Chosen app. It is accurate, easy to understand and makes you think about where you are in your journey with Christ and where you want to be. It would be suggested to do the Bible studies for each of the Episodes. Value for the cost is excellent. I totally recommend this study.

This book offers far more content than I initially anticipated. It serves as an excellent companion resource to the show. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that such study guides are available, and it has genuinely impressed me how one can engage in a thorough Bible study in conjunction with a completely free TV show—no subscriptions needed and no advertisements.
