We do have french door adapters that allow you to install the hooks so that it sticks out. The screen we are currently shipping is all black. We're really sorry for the confusion and we'll work to change the pictures withing the next 2 weeks. **Q: Does the door handle hit the screen if you close the door when its down** A: Hi, it's usually not a problem. Most door handles don't usually extend past the door jamb. I would say that you have almost a 3 inch clearance between the door and the screen, and most door handles don't come out more that 2 inches, BUT that's just the average, so your door could have different dimension. Will try and upload the first install when I find the photos, but just finished my second and it was just as easy as the first. Way better than the split magnet ones since you get to have the whole door width and can't see the seam in the middle.Customer service is 5/5 stars. I contacted them on a Sunday about missing hardware, expecting them to get back to me during the week. Carlos responded soon after to let me know to check the tape on the bubble wrap...and there is was (good thing it wasn't trash day).It seems very solid and durable. Easy to install.Only 15 minutes if you are mild paced and without a hand drill.Two suggestion for improvement:1) The is that the clips to hold the cover come off too easily. The groove needs to be a bit wider for it to seat better. My files were even too wide so I had to use a needle tip on my dremel to open it up slightly.2) Add adhesive tab to the kit for a pull down handle. I'm thinking something like binder note tabs, but with stronger adhesive.Overall, I love this product, quality, and customer service. I'm surprised they do not have more reviews and customers. Underrated! Well worth the price.
