I have three wands. On two of my blinds they work great and always work. On one set of blinds the turning piece is hard to turn. On a good day the motorized wand will work, but often it will stop turning because it does not have enough torque to turn the opening hook. Sometimes the wand pops out of the holder and then just spins on it's own. One controller makes daily adjustments quick and easy. It may have been installer error by not seating the stabilizer brackets close enough to the wand, but there is an occasional rogue wand that pops loose and spins freely. A small band of white tape took care of the problem.
