Review: Amazing! - I wrote a review but it must have been for the bowls. These are very beautiful and will remind you of some classy European dish ware. They don’t “tip” when you are putting pressure on them cutting steaks or something. You should know that there are little light brown speckles on the plates. The pictures kind of show them but you can’t really clearly see them. I didn’t know how I felt about them at first but I have come to love them since it makes them more unique and have more personality. The colors are beautiful, subdued, rich, creamy, not intense or gaudy and they complement each other very nicely. A word of advice: don’t put them on glass stops or a beautifully finished dining table. These will scratch because the very bottoms of the plates are unfinished. It’s great for keeping grip but not for beautiful furniture. Use a tablecloth or place a napkin under the plate and problem solved! I personally use mine in front of the tv on my textured rough look tannish-gray wooden pull-out coffee table and they’re perfect. Perfect weight to the plates. Do not place them on top of glass stove tops unless they’re already scratched up. All in all I highly recommend these.

**Q: Why do these read "Made in China" if they are created and produced by this husband/wife team?**
A: We are a small family owned business that designs our pieces and values a high standard of quality control. Our premium ceramics are made in our factory in China. Although some of the best ceramic techniques can be found there, we still check each of our pieces by hand to make sure that each of our customers are receiving a quality product. A: 6 plates stacked are 2.5 inches tall.
If your interested in the bowls, 4 stacked are 6" tall.

**Q: What colors are the 6 plates in the "assorted colors" option?**
A: Our assorted colors salad and dinner plate collections come with one of each color, Vanilla, Earl Grey, Blue Curacao, Rosé, Mint Bonbon, and Lavender Sugar.

**Q: What color is the rim edge, some photos look dark brown, some rust colored, is the edge color the same on all color choices? Thanks.**
A: Its a natural, brown clay color.  Its the base color of all the plates.

I’ve had these almost a week. I’ve used them in the microwave, The dishwasher and they are holding up great. Perfect size! In fact I feel like my family uses this size even more than a larger plate. But if they had larger plates to match I would definitely get some so I had a set. The green is very subtle and light but pretty. Unless it’s next to something white they almost look cream colored. Love them so far!
