The corner of the first one broke off when I dropped my phone. Now a corner on my new case is damaged after a drop. This cover is NOT drop proof. If you drop your phone, it will probably be damaged. I've dropped my phone twice, and each time my iATO phone cases haven't fared well. (It is the black trim that has been affected. The wood part also shows wear/scratches.) However, they did protect my phone and I just LOVE how this case looks! It is slim, sophisticated, and very attractive. (Just like me. Ha!) I'd recommend it if you are very cautious with your phone. There is nothing for your screen. I wouldn’t want to put my phone in my pocket with keys with this case on my phone. I keep this case with my wooden watch and wooden sunglasses and only actually put it on my phone to go out and do fancy things otherwise my phone is in a protective gel case that covers the entire phone.
