I had almost no faith in myself that I could actually accomplish this job of replacing the glass on my old shattered iphone. Are you kidding me?!? But My son needed a phone, and since i had a shattered one lying around I thought, what have I got to lose? So... first off... they shipped my product immediately. Once it shipped and was on its way to me they sent a follow up email with additional tips, along with an extremely helpful link to a step by step instructional YouTube video. Once I got the package, I opened it up. Beautiful... everything was nicely packaged and safely in its place. It also came with a paper pamphlet with step by step visual directions.. also very helpful. My advice to you, make sure you have a clean cleared off work station. make sure you keep your screws separate according to each step and know where they go back, cuz they are tiny, and can be hard to differentiate from eachother. I just had three little paper plates, and each step where I had to remove screws got it's own plate. And.... follow that video they recommend step by step. I worked along with it, pausing when I needed, ALWAYS listening first to the instruction before trying to figure it out myself. There are super delicate cables inside, and one rushed move can destroy them. So be CAREFUL AND PATIENT! Patience is key here!! All in all, I'm basically a huge idiot when it comes to this sort of thing, never once have I ever attempted "surgery" on anything electrical... but they made this easy enough for even me. And thats saying a lot!!! Next gonna tackle my old shattered iPad! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Every step is explained and demonstrated *by B***. on February 6, 2018* I did it! A tiny but very heavy object landed right on my "on" button and shattered my screen. The glass on the on button looked like white powder it was so fine. I really thought my phone was gone, but at $200 to "fix it" or $500 for a replacement, I decided to give this a try. Well done! This kit comes with everything you need--video explanation with a camera so close to the demonstrator's hands that you can actually see what he's doing, a specific accurate diagram of everything inside your phone, and every tool you need in order to do the job. So for $25 and an hour's work, I got my phone back, unlike a friend whose screen was just broken instead of shattered like mine, and he paid $500 for a new phone. But this isn't for you if you are the kind of person who doesn't like to read or listen or follow directions--just go get another phone. BUT if you are willing to read and listen and do one step at a time, you can do this and save yourself a lot of money. I did mine a few months ago, and it's like new. I'm so glad this product has been made available. ### ⭐ Don't expect much for your money *by A***T on April 28, 2017* I rarely leave reviews but felt I needed to on this item. First, replacing this screen is no easy task. This is not the fault of the product, just they way it is made. I have never seen such small screws in my life. I battled this thing for over an hour before I was finally able to get everything put back together properly. The instructions provided are not very detailed, better to go on to YouTube if you are up for the challenge. I started it up, everything worked properly, thought... excellent, saved buying a new phone. Well, that lasted for 6 days. Everything was working and then randomly half the screen went out. I gave the product the benefit of the doubt, thought maybe it was the way I put it together, pinched wire or something. Took it all apart again, examined everything, put it back together as carefully as possible.... nope, half screen still doesn't work. Long story short, if you feel getting an extra week out of your phone and don't mind sacrificing a fair amount of time is worth $30 then go for it.
