I have circles of burnt on food/grease formed around the burners that are really stubborn!** A: I tried rubbing some on the bottom of a stainless steel pot that had some burned on residue...it took some rubbing, but burnt on stuff that my regular dish detergent didn't take off came off with the Ceramabyte. However, Ceramabyte makes a product specifically for stainless steel. It got high reviews, but one person said it streaked and left smudges. With this product, you HAVE to use a clean dry cloth (or paper toweling) and completely rub the product off after you've finished removing the dirt and grease. And, it's important not to use too much...I just use a few drops on my cooktop...otherwise it does take much longer to get all the residue off and leave it spotless. The stainless steel cleaner can also be purchased with a special scrub pad. I'm going to buy a bottle myself for my oven door and refrigerator! **Q: Descrip says yes..does this kit come with gripper tool or not** A: No and its old product **Q: I scuffed my ceramic cooktop any good suggestions as to what can remove it** A: Depending on what is was scuffed with. **Q: What are ingredients?** A: It really does not specify. However it does not contain phosphates and is biodegradable. Also it is an eye irritant so watch the little ones. I love this.
