Review: Great for younger kids that want to play the game without the mess! - Bought this for my daughter when she saw the commercial on TV for the game. I didn't want to get her one since the little balls would be lost in a day or two. I ran across this product and was happy to see the little balls are enclosed in a plastic shell. It's great fun without the mess or missing pieces. It is smaller than I expected, but it is a travel game and is the perfect size for a toddlers hand. The build quality is good pretty hard plastic it's been dropped, thrown, stepped on and its still holding on. Great quality game for the price!
Review: Small game. - I couldn't decide between the travel game or the regular game. We decided on the travel one because my son wanted the one with the lid so he didn't lose the marbles... it's much smaller than I expected I figured it would be smaller than the regular size game how ever it's the same price and much much smaller. I was a bit disappointed. However my 3 year old loves it and takes it every where. In the car he even sits in the grocery cart at the store and plays with it wich makes getting groceries much easier!

**Q: If i have another hungry hippo game can i connect more hippos? it only comes with 2 right? but it looks like there's a spot for another 2 right?**
A: This toy is defective, the balls roll back into the hippos reserve tank all by themselves...meaning there is no "game." Please know that this toy was no worth playing with for 5 minutes...and that is sad because I loved this g am e as a child and wanted to share it with my preschooler.

**Q: Someone told me this is a good game for toddlers with autism. my neighbor's daughter is on the autism spectrum and is non verbal. opinions?**
A: Autism varies a lot, so it’s hard to say. I would warn that many kids with autism have sensory challenges, such as being extra sensitive to noises, and this game is pretty rattley. But if she’s okay with noise, she’d probably enjoy it.

**Q: Would this be to noisy for an airplane ride?**
A: It may be a bit noisy for the airplane depending on who is playing it.  My small children 3yo and 6yo would not be able to contain their excitement and keep it quiet.  Good for the airport and hotel during down times though.
