**Q: Can I use this to attach 6x6 post to a 6*6 post at 90 degree angle ?**
A: No. This tie is for attaching a 6x6 post to a beam made up of 3 2x's

**Q: I need to set a double 2x8 beam on top of and attached to a 6x6 post. Will this do it?**
A: This is for a triple 2x8 beam on a 6x6 post. You could make it work but I am not sure it would meet code.
