**Q: When the numbers flip do they make a sound or is it silent? If it makes a sound, is it loud?**
A: When the numbers fall the sound is like a pen click. However the clock itself is not silent either. You hear the motor in a otherwise quiet room. Also fun fact: I have had it for a year. I have lost 2 of the number tabs. No clue why they just fell off. Other that 2 minutes an hour the time looks goofy it's a cool little unit. I would buy another.

A: It's metal and an awesome clock!

**Q: why would the manufacturer recoment a carbon zinc battery instead of an akaline?**
A: Carbon zinc (often known as heavy duty) batteries don't have the bad habit of leaking like alkaline batteries do.

**Q: can you detach the metal base and hang the clock on the wall?**
A: Sorry , Can't hang on the wall
