**Q: I will be painting a bbq smoker.  how would you recommend to prep the surface before applying the paint?**
A: I would at least knock off the rust then wipe it down with thinner, mineral spirits or other solvent. The cleaner you get the metal, the better the paint will bond. I put it on my BBQ grill, I didn't put a lot of effort into prep and cleaning, just knocked off the loose rust and paint, it still looks pretty good.

**Q: can this be used on a stove hood?**
A: Yes.  It is a good choice for stove hoods.  It has a temp range up to 1200 degrees.  If you get our stove hood that hot, you deserve to burn your house down and write a book how you did it.

**Q: I painted an exhaust pipe on my motorcycle last night but it looks brown!  Does anyone know if it dries black; once it's cured???**
A: Hey Mark, I painted my scooter muffler yesterday and same thing, it looks brown. I was wondering if yours ended up drying black ? It's been 24 hours, I haven't heated it yet, maybe that helps?

**Q: can u spray it**
A: Yes, you can. I used seven parts of paint to one part mineral spirits. 30 psi at the spray gun. Wonderful results and much less expensive than spray cans.

Es un bonito negro satinado. Mi estufa de leña revivió con las 2 manos que le di y además ahora se limpia mucho más fácil. La recomiendo mucho.
