    Nice light with a few gliches

This light fixture looks really great.  We were concerned that the 60 watt maximum might not be bright enough to properly light our staircase, but in fact it's perfect-- adequate light, but not too bright.  The way the bulb illuminates the folds of the fixture is quite beautiful and makes the overall effect exactly what we were looking for.My only gripe is that the base that the bulb screws into is black plastic.  You can definitely see the black from multiple angles; it's visible through the folds of the white globe that covers the bulb.  The manufacturer should definitely have used white plastic-- a simple modification that would have enhanced the fixture.  I think I will take the globe off and hand paint the base with white enamel paint to eliminate this glitch.  Ridiculous oversight by the company that made this!Also, I should mention that the attachment parts were a bit cheaply constructed. The silver disc that fits against the ceiling is extremely lightweight (though it actually looks okay) and more importantly, the little silver piece that screws onto the threaded piece that holds the light up is poorly machined.  It took a few tries to get it to engage the threads enough to somewhat securely hold up the fixture.

I am in love with this light. Looks even better than it did online. Tons of compliments on it. I have it hanging over my makeup vanity and it adds the perfect touch of glam!!

For the price I thought the material would have been a little better.  Feels like plastic that can melt.  I had hoped the delivery would have occurred sooner but it was delivered on the last day as promised.
