Had to make a few seals with this as I had to disassemble parts after having them assembled due to stripped threads. It takes quite a bit of patience to shape this material and it was too strong to use any of the cookie cutter techniques. I ended up tracing the designs (every one of them complex as all ****...) and using a scalpel to iteratively carve the gaskets. I then used a Dremel and a sand wheel to sooth out the cuts. I used drill bits, by hand, to create bolt holes, then smoothed out the holes with the Dremel.
