**Q: Will this hold a large industrial size pattern book the size of 2 medical study books?**
A: Considering how large that particular book you are describing, I do not think this book stand would fit your needs.

**Q: Would it hold a large 1.5”-2” binder?**
A: I love this bookstand for library books (novels) and other regular sized books, but it is not large enough for binders or even a very large book (dictionary, e.g.) in my opinion.  It folds up very neatly and small.

**Q: Is it magnetic?**
A: No, the MSDADA Desk Book Stand is not magnetic. However, it is a good sturdy metal book stand.

**Q: Will this work holding documents to type at work?**
A: I think it would. I use it sometimes in the kitchen to hold a recipe I’ve printed. It’s very sturdy too.

I bought this cheerfully red metal stand o use in my kitchen, to hold not only cookbooks but also my iPad and printed out recipes I’ve downloaded from the internet. Its design incorporates features that allows all of those items to be supported and easily displayed for kitchen use. It’s a bright cheery red, it’s very well made, and is easy to set up and use.
