It provides good support and flexibility. I just purchased a large instead of X-large because after the X-large lost a little elasticity it would slide down a bit so I would have to keep tightening it. The Large is a little snug but I keep stretching it and bending the plastic hinge brace to make it more comfortable until it stretches a little more. I am pretty sure it will work out. It fits well through the knee, but is a little tight in the banding at the top and bottom. I received it today and wore it to a Zumba class tonight, it was amazing. The support is strong and I was able to move so much better. *History* I decided to purchase this knee brace as my patella dislocated 7 months ago.
