Review: NOT Compatible with International Water Bottles - This filter functions as it should. It filters water. But one of the reasons I bought it was for its ability to mount on top of plastic water bottles. However, it does NOT fit on Fiji 700ml, Evian 750ml, Vichy 750ml, water bottles. It also does not fit on Arwa, Al Ain, or Masafi water bottles in 500ml or 1L sizes, or any others that I have tried overseas. I am disappointed because I live in the Middle East and travel to South East Asia regularly and it seems that the standard bottle mouth / thread size in these areas is just slightly larger than the 28mm thread on the Sawyer filters. (I tried both the Sawyer Squeeze and the Sawyer Micro). I realize that Sawyer has not promised a universal fit, but I thought others who may be considering this filter for international use should be aware of the compatibility issues. I will probably return this filter and look for one that is more suited to my AOR.

**Q: How is the flow rate compared to Mini and Squeeze?**
A: Much better than mini and I’d say close to squeeze

**Q: Will it thread onto a platypus hydration bag for clean water storage/carry?**
A: The platypus products do not always fit our filters well.  Our filters and pouches use the standard 28 mm threading.

**Q: Is this the same filter that is on the select systems s1, s2, s3?**
A: It looks like it's the same filter. The bottle the primary and the micro the secondary.

**Q: How much does just the filter weigh (dry, before any use)?**
A: On my scale it weighs 1.83 oz out of the box.
