My local Home Depot was out of stock of this adhesive so I was glad to find it on Amazon. It arrived without any damage to the container. The adhesive is easy to scoop out of the container. I used a small scraping tool I have for painting to scoop out the adhesive and spread it on the backs of my finished rugs. It goes on smoothly and it didn’t smell too bad. I barely noticed the smell so that was a big plus! I left the adhesive to dry for a day. It is still a bit tacky once “dried” but that was helpful when it came to folding back the edges of the tufting cloth since the still-sticky adhesive held the cloth in place as I secured it more permanently with the glue gun. The yarns were very securely held by the adhesive so I’m happy with this product. You will use a lot of this adhesive for your tufted rugs, so a big container of this stuff will be handy. I liked that the finished rug is still soft and pliable, not stiff like some other adhesives.
