Review: At 7 1/2" X 7 1/2" X 2 1/2" OD when closed and 6 1/2" X 6 1/2" X 2" ID when opened up there is more than enough room for my LG portable DVD drive and cables with room to spare. The two halves are about 1" deep with a strap on one side to hold your device and a pouch on the other for cables, The zipper makes a solid sound and the hinge seems sturdy and is made out of the same material the covers the outside of the shell, no cheap plastic one here. This is a hard shell case and does fit into my laptop bag but it's kinda bulky for that and should protect your device from bumps and scrapes. All in all I like this case and would recommend it.
