The pictures seem fairly high contrast and, while the art styles are sometimes less than realistic, the pictures are easy to identify. I bought these to let my baby think she was part of the game when my husband and I played card games, and she LOVES them! I honestly didn’t expect them to distract her so well. They’re nice, thick cards that have been gummed and pulled on and are still holding strong. The pictures seem fairly high contrast and, while the art styles are sometimes less than realistic, the pictures are easy to identify. These are cute flash cards. There is quite the variety of pictures and words. They are sturdy, though not water or bite proof. They come held together with a ring, but you can open and remove the cards. They are fairly large cards, but can be kept in a diaper bag for a distraction toy. These pictures are not realistic, but are fun art to look at and talk about with child.
