This plug worked well because it holds my cord in solid. The other plug after 56 hours began not holding tight. I suspect because of vibration of the generator. One word of caution is you will need to remove the mounting bracket on the plug and replace it with the mounting bracket on the original plug. Not a big deal. The bracket on the original just screws off. Or option is to widen the holes on this plug so it sets flat.
