Can this be worn normally for social outing or daily not for work

Only on social outings with co-workers. Folks not used to the boots awesome aura could be blindsided, which is a social faux-pas, de deux version. Annotated.

Is the entire boot waterproof?

No. The sides of the tongue are not connected to the boot and will allow water to enter.

do they fit big or small? or actual size

I wear a 9 1/2, I ordered a 9 1/2 and they fit as 9 1/2's.

How would these do climbing up and down ladders? Doing this with tennis shoes kill my feet and I'm wondering if the soles are stiff enough.

Theses are perfect for climbing ladders!
