It’s best suited for metal gear parts; avoid using it on plastic or mixed (plastic + metal) gears, as it’s petroleum-based and, under friction, can degrade plastic gears over time. It’s fine for non-frictional plastic parts, but for gears, use it only when all components are metal for the best performance and longevity.
